A Brief History of Cosmetics

People have been using cosmetics to improve their appearance since the last few thousand years. It is also used to mimic fauna or look scary for the festival. The history of cosmetology is much older by civilization. An antique vagabond creates the mud and ash pastes they apply to their bodies because they disguise themselves or intimidate other tribes.

Practically thought at the beginning of the 21st century that cosmetics are only used by women. In fact it has been used by both sexes throughout history. The oldest actual makeup dates from 4000 BC based on ancient Egypt. Noble people in Egypt wear cosmetics on lead, mercury, ash and other substances to make black eyeliner &  accentuate eye shape.




Deodorants such as carob pellets were worn by priests and nobles in ancient Egypt. They are personally rubbed into the body. Egyptian hieroglyphs have put rich news that helps on understanding how cosmetics were used in ancient times.
After several hundred years, the Chinese noble family used a mixture of beeswax, bubblegum, gelatin &  eggs using a lot of hue on their fingernails. The noble family is only allowed to use the detailed color to be a status symbol.

Cosmetics have advanced with the oil and lotion of the Roman era. They are used in make up, perfume &  cleansers and hair to keep fit. Oily lotions made according to the fat fauna are often applied in the face &  other body parts due to hide defects.

Roman preparations were known to be highly toxic in those days. The female slave is known to be the cosmetae who usually dissolves a variety of substances in his own saliva. Roman cosmetics makers are one of the most prolific on the ancient global.

At the same time, the progress of hair dye &  wigs allows one to immediately replace their appearance and with great satisfaction. Roman wigs received specific requests from the old generals &  senators.

Other global parts such as the Middle East and India have used henna as a decorative cover on complex designs.

Arab chemists have shared the process of distillation in medieval times, this helps manufacture perfume oil among other eligible products. Yet human vanity uses this process for the first time on a scale for the pleasure of wealthy merchants who want graceful bodies and clothing.

The period of reform in Europe is one of the most crucial periods in recent history of cosmetology. The invention of the eau to the toilette allows fine fragrance for the first time to be sprayed onto the skin and not brushed with a thickness.

The mass market of cosmetics has been steadily growing since the 20th century and the rise of Hollywood movies and television, which has prompted the make-up to new levels of acceptance &  availability for all ages. Cosmetics continues to grow as the industry grows using increasingly poly developing countries. The development of the 20th century saw the socialization of skin coloring agents such as skin-based chemical lighteners, nail polish, lipstick, eye shadow and blush.
